How to get across the idea of professionalism in all the sections that make up this space, without taking away from the metres of shelving and instead increasing them as much as possible?
IMAGINATION Create a "bookcase" fitting, with letters and words as the basic marketing elements, sketches and a clear, clean display as typical elements for a modern, technical space that nonetheless remains aware of its tradition. Install lighting points to make the space look roomier; break up the straight line of the ceiling to create different moods within the same space.
SEDUCTION The main features of the Don Bosco Pharmacy become apparent from a quick glance: clear, dense product display, efficient service and a pleasant, lively space despite 220 metres of shelving being squeezed into a 100m² sales area. A project made up of right angles and straight and perpendicular lines, the curved reception counter being the sole exception, accessible from any direction and in the middle of the self-service products area. Straightaway the main purpose behind the Don Bosco pharmacy project was identified as communicating the solid professionalism of the staff working in health and beauty, as well as the need to make the most of every centimetre of selling space. The idea of creating a modern bookcase fitting, playing on the book/pharmacy product parallel draws together all the staff's professionalism and knowledge and influences all the variables in the project.
RELATIONSHIP The two "secret" ambiances within the bookcase, fitted out as a dermo-cosmetics cubicle and a shoe fitting room, create private environments away from the sales floor. An area dedicated to giving customers advice and treatment.
